The Challenge
On the terrace of a German hotel like NH Hotel, a 4×4-meter umbrella that tilts, jams, or shows uneven finish tells guests something about the property before they sit down.
For the supply partner serving these projects, every product failure becomes complaint cost and eroded project trust. They needed a commercial umbrella that could handle long-term outdoor deployment, frequent operation, and near-zero maintenance — while matching the visual standard expected in hospitality environments.
Previous solutions had failed on durability under real use, woodgrain consistency across batches, and the after-sales burden that fell on the supply partner.
The Solution
Zero damage at 20 m/s — TÜV wind validation
The T60 passed TÜV third-party wind testing under a repeated stress cycle: 15 m/s for 2 minutes, down to 5 m/s for 1 minute, up to 20 m/s for 2 minutes — repeated twice. Total test duration: ~10 minutes of continuous wind loading. Result: zero damage, zero functional failure.
For the supply partner, the performance claim shifted from “we believe it works” to “TÜV confirmed it works.”

Woodgrain transfer consistency controlled at production level
TITAN titanium and LIGHT ROSEWOOD finishes required tight batch-to-batch control. TEMPO managed furnace temperature records, transfer paper incoming inspection, and first-article QC sign-off before each production run.

A 4×4m configuration built for hotel deployment
Purpose-configured for long-term hospitality use: Suntec fabric, TITAN/ROSEWOOD heat-transfer frame finish, heavy cross-base and in-ground base options, protective cover, handle with laser logo. Two sample rounds (14 + 14 days) before production.
Inspection and replenishment under a 120-day cycle
Customer inspection before shipment. Cooperation structured for ongoing replenishment — the supply partner reorders based on inventory without restarting full development.

The Results
Near-zero complaints
Product performance stable since delivery. Single reported issue attributed to end-user mishandling. After-sales pressure for the supply partner dropped significantly versus previous solutions.
Better operational experience and project fit
Project feedback confirmed easier operation and better visual alignment with hotel project expectations.
Repeat order in the first year
Partnership began in 2024, repeat order placed within the same year — the most direct signal of trust for a new supplier relationship.
